In the Alam School for Speech and Learning a project of SADA NGO, we are committed to providing specialized interventions that help individuals with hearing loss develop their communication skills. Through personalized auditory training, speech therapy, and language development programs, we empower individuals to enhance their ability to understand and use language, ultimately improving their quality of life. Role of SLPs in Hearing Impairment

At Alam School for Speech and Learning, SLPs work with individuals aged 2.5 years to 14 years, to address communication challenges related to hearing impairment. SADA NGO is committed to ensuring that every individual has access to the tools and resources they need to communicate effectively and confidently in their daily lives. The role of SLP includes:

Strategies Used by SLPs

We employ various strategies to support individuals with hearing impairment, including:

• Amplification Devices:

SADA NGO, after thorough Audiological testing, recommends and gives appropriate hearing aids, adjusts, and programs hearing aids and cochlear implant processors.

• Communication Access:

SADA NGO, after thorough Audiological testing, recommends and gives appropriate hearing aids, adjusts, and programs hearing aids and cochlear implant processors.

• Speech-Generating Devices:

SADA NGO is utilizing devices that generate speech to support communication.
